Four rec centers, seven golf courses, endless things to do
Del Webb built Sun City West between 1978 and 1997, and today it is a community of about 16,900 homes just west of the original Sun City. The Recreation Centers of Sun City West is a not for profit run by and for its nearly 30,000 owner members, and it is the heart of daily life here.
You will find pools, fitness centers, bowling, arts and crafts studios, and meeting rooms for clubs, plus the community library and the Sports Pavilion.
Deer Valley, Grandview, Pebblebrook, Trail Ridge, Desert Trails, Echo Mesa, and Stardust give you a different round every day of the week. See all of them alongside the Sun City courses on our Sun City golf guide.
